First IAM Observed Ride
« on: October 25, 2009, 07:20:37 »
Went out yesterday morning for about three hours. Excellent fun. The weather was shocking, and the roads were thick with leaves. JOY!

But, I got excellent feedback, and a couple of things to work on.

He reckons another 2-3 sessions and I should be ready.

Although I enjoyed it, I cannot believe how tense I was. My hands and writs were shot! Which did result in some interesting lines through roundabouts!!

The best bit was when the observer led and gave a commentary. My observer was a police biker, and watching his ride and listening to his unbelievably detailed, fast and clear commentary was amazing.

Nice one thescotsman.

I have had Six sessions. Each session after the 3rd was just tweaking little things. The sixth was a mock with my observer which I passed. My proper mock with the Chief Observer is booked for the 8th November. Wish me luck!!.

I would love to hear the commentary stuff. Awesome.
